Our family is running a farm in the north of Luxembourg since the 1950s. Over the decades, the family farm has developed into a broad-based company. An important milestone was the relocation of the business from the centre of the village of Binsfeld to the nearby industrial area of Ulflingen. With the start of construction work at the new site in 2008, the foundation stone was laid for further company growth. The future-orientated infrastructure enabled us to expand our range of services and open up new areas of business. We currently offer a total of 65 permanent employees a challenging and secure job.
In addition to our own arable farming, contract farming is the company's most important pillar. The 8 combine harvesters, 9 forage harvesters and 55 tractors work within a radius of over 100 kilometres around Ulflingen. The range of services extends - from sowing to harvesting - to all work on grass, grain, maize, potatoes and beets. The modern company buildings, the versatile fleet of vehicles and the good instinct for innovation have helped our company to become internationally recognised. Nevertheless, personal, customised service for each individual customer is an important concern for us.
Another cornerstone of the company is the agricultural machinery workshop, which opened in 2015 and is run as an official service centre for Fendt tractors. From minor maintenance to complex repairs, all work can be carried out here. Thanks to its extensive equipment, the workshop building offers optimum working conditions for the service personnel. The spacious spare parts warehouse with four automated high racks enables the compact storage of hardware, spare parts and tools.
In recent years, the team at J.Reiff sàrl has also specialised in the sale of young used tractors. For customers from near and far, we have a wide range of as-new Fendt tractors from the 300 to 900 Vario series.
The farm's collection of vintage cars is particularly interesting for lovers of historic agricultural machinery. It is probably one of the largest of its kind. Over the last 20 years, we have succeeded in collecting more than 200 Fendt vehicles. In addition to the tractors, the collection also includes trailers, bicycles and rare special machines from the Bavarian family-owned company from Marktoberdorf, which has been part of the American AGCO Group since 1997. Almost the entire world was travelled to acquire the vehicles. In 2018, we even managed to import 4 rare models from the short-term Fendt production in Sao Paulo to Luxembourg. Almost all the vehicles in the collection are ready to drive. Most of them are restored in our own workshop and look as if they have just rolled off the production line. From the Fendt motorised mower from 1928 to 1930 to the well-known Nasenbären Favorit 622 and 626 from the 1980s, almost all tractor models built in the meantime can be found in the collection. We can also call a few one-offs and prototypes converted for testing purposes our own. The many curiosities and stories surrounding the exhibits characterise the visitor experience during a tour of the factory.
The two-hour tour gives you an exclusive look behind the scenes of the company. You will experience the latest agricultural technology up close and learn more about the history of the company. The tour through the collection of vintage vehicles shows the impressive development from the horse and ox teams of yesteryear to today's large tractors. In the workshop, you can look over the shoulders of our technical staff as they maintain the vehicles and see for yourself the wide-ranging expertise of our team.
